Welcome to Tweetie

Tweetie is deceptively simple. It's designed to be instantly familiar, but once you explore the nooks and crannies it's undeniably powerful.

This manual is a guide to those features that may not be immediately obvious. This chapter is a brief overview of the basic features.

The Basics

After you add your first account, you'll be presented with the Account List. Here, you can add and remove accounts, Refresh All accounts, and modify Settings.

Tap an account to go to the main screen for that account.

Use the tab bar at the bottom to switch between your Timeline, Mentions, Direct Messages, Search, and More. If there are unread items a blue glow will appear beneath the corresponding icon.

Your direct messages are threaded into conversations. A blue dot appears next to conversations with unread items. As a shortcut, double tap on the Messages icon at the bottom to Mark All as Read.

Tap the search icon for a slew of options. Nearby will show a map with nearby tweets, your Saved Searches will sync with Twitter.com, and Trends let you know what's hot on Twitter right now.

From the More tab (...), you can view your own Profile. In the upper-right, tap the Edit button to edit your own account information.
